The Pearl Izumi Mavericks Short combines a fully integrated compression short and a lightweight stretch woven shell.
From the very top of the waist band, to the bottom of the 8 inch inseam, the inner short feels seamless and comfortable. There are a few seams, but they are flatlocked and unnoticeable. A small zippered pocket on the back provides secure storage of items such as keys or gel pouch. A draw cord at the waist band keep the Mavericks up.
The compression short is made of 4-way stretch UltraSensor fabric that has a patented one-way capillary action and hydrophobic fibers that actively pull moisture away from the skin, giving you epic and lasting comfort even at the highest exertion levels. Superior moisture transport technology accelerates the evaporative process keeping you dry and comfortable.
The outer short is made from a lightweight Sensor stretch woven fabric for great freedom of movement and durability.
