The Montbell Thunder Dome 2 is a lightweight, freestanding 3-season tent with excellent ventilation.
The Thunder Dome sets up fast, provides a surprising amount of interior space, yet won't break your back. Ultralight mesh is incorporated all around to keep air flowing on those warmer summer nights. An innovative pole design provides ample head room, while the spacious vestibule shelters your gear from the elements.
The tent body is made from 15-denier Ballistic Airlight rip-stop nylon. The floor is made from more durable 40-denier high-density nylon taffeta with 2,000mm waterproof polyurethane coating. The rain fly is made from 30-denier polyester rip-stop with 1,500mm waterproof polyurethane coating.
Two DAC Featherlite NSL 9 mm poles provides structure for the tent and is made from 7001 aluminum. Includes 13 stakes made from 7075 aluminum stakes. 30 square feet interior with 9.6 feet vestibule.
